发现一个有趣的现象，我没在web.xml下指定默认的welcome page ，但是tomcat会自动去找index.htm，然后是index.jsp，

在tomcat_home/conf/web.xml 文件里有
<welcome-file-list> <welcome-file>index.html</welcome-file> <welcome-file>index.htm</welcome-file> <welcome-file>index.jsp</welcome-file> </welcome-file-list> |
