JSF2.0 Public Review投票已经通过

JSF2.0 Public Review投票已经通过，除了apache投了反对票和少数几个弃权以外，其他专家组成员基本都投了赞成票。

 

 

虽然现在比较 关注REST和RIA，不过我还是很看好JSF2.0的。之前网上有个介绍JSF2.0新特性的系列文章，很不错，此外

上给出了关于JSF2.0一系列很好的文章 ，有时间打算翻译一下。其实JSF2.0的参考实现已经可以用了，这个项目叫做Mojarra 。

Apache投no，是基于非技术原因。以下是投票的comments：

On 2009-01-12 Apache Software Foundation voted No with the following comment:
The Apache Software Foundation's vote is based on the point of view that this spec lead - Sun - is in violation of the JSPA

and therefore shouldn't be allowed to start or continue another JSR until the above matter is resolved.

This vote is not a comment on the technical merits of the JSR.  If not for the issue of the spec lead, the ASF would have otherwise voted "yes".

The JSF 2.0 team last month released an implementation of the new JSF 2.0 PRD (see JCP vote) and an updated JSF 1.2.11.

The releases are available at the GFv3 Update Center (see, e.g., Mac) and can be installed using the stand-alone UpdateTool or the Admin Console. Let us know if you encounter any problems.

This implementation has all PRD features including the Declarative Events described by Jason, but the EG is still working on additional features like state management. A few others, like bookmarkable URLs, are still being discussed and may or not make it.
