How to Install Open System Architect

1.Download and install the ODBC Connector drivers from the MySQL website (see Resources). Use all default options as you click "Next" throughout the installer.

2.Download the OpenSystem Architect zip archive.

3.Double-click the zip archive to extract it. Double-click the "bin" folder.

4.Right-click "OpenSystemArchitect.exe" and click "Properties." Click "Compatibility."

5.Click "Run this program in compatibility mode for," and then select "Windows XP." Click "Apply," then "OK" and then double-click the application.

 

 

Installing ODBC Instant Client

==============================

 

1.Download the Basic Instant Client and ODBC Instant Client packages

 

2.Unzip the ODBC Instant Client package, then execute the odbc_install script

在dos下切换到odbc_install.exe所在的目录：

C:\Oracle\instantclient_10_2>C:\Oracle\instantclient_10_2/odbc_install.exe

Oracle ODBC Driver is installed successfully.

 

3.Add the directory to the PATH system environment variable.

@set PATH=C:\Oracle\instantclient_10_2;%PATH%

 

4.Define the TNS_ADMIN to point the .ora files directory for OCI.

@set TNS_ADMIN=C:\Oracle\instantclient_10_2

 

5.Set any Oracle globalization variables required for your locale.

@set NLS_LANG=american_america.AL32UTF8
