最近正在从Eclipse向Netbeans迁移。
为啥呢?我也把这个问题post在netbeans的mailing list上。下面是就大家回答的整理。
原因1: easier to use than eclipse.
这个是仁者见仁,智者见智的了。不过,就普遍反映来看,对新人来说,Netbeans更易上手。
原因2: much more integrated.
这个没的说,Netbeans的绝对优势。Netbeans整合的GUI builder就不用说啦,6.0中,把UML也整合了,非常的好用。而且这些整合在Netbeans中的功能,是以module的形式出现的,你可以自由的启用/停止module。 相比之下,Eclipse的“plugin-hell”就差劲多了。
原因3: able to use early technologies.
原因4: much faster than eclipse.
尤其是在Linux上。关于速度,有2个神话:1)Eclipse比Netbeans快;2)由第一个神话得到的,SWT比Swing快。当然啦,这个问题现在已经澄清了,Java6.0上,Netbeans比Eclipse快,Swing比SWT快。
最后,Roman这个N人,就Why Netbeans,做了两个flash。介绍了Netbeans的一些“特长”。
