下载得到文件
oracle-xe-universal_10.2.0.1-1.0_i386.deb


UBUNTU8.04安装准备
apt-get install libaio bc

报错如下：
apt-get install libaio bc
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree      
Reading state information... Done
Package libaio is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
libaio1
E: Package libaio has no installation candidate

把如上两个依赖分开安装：
命令：
apt-get install libaio1

命令：
apt-get install bc

上传XE安装文件
用如下命令安装：

dpkg -i oracle-xe-universal_10.2.0.1-1.0_i386.deb

安装信息如下：
Selecting previously deselected package oracle-xe-universal.
(Reading database ... 33342 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking oracle-xe-universal (from oracle-xe-universal_10.2.0.1-1.0_i386.deb) ...
Setting up oracle-xe-universal (10.2.0.1-1.0) ...
Executing Post-install steps...
-e You must run '/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure' as the root user to configure the database.


配置数据库
命令：
/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure
这个脚本将要提示你初始化SYS和SYSTEM的密码。 Oracle监听器的监听端口和Oracle Application Server的端口。大多数情况下你只需要默认设置。

我操作信息如下：
root@kiko804:/usr/tmp# /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure

Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Configuration
-------------------------------------------------
This will configure on-boot properties of Oracle Database 10g Express
Edition. The following questions will determine whether the database should
be starting upon system boot, the ports it will use, and the passwords that
will be used for database accounts. Press <Enter> to accept the defaults.
Ctrl-C will abort.

Specify the HTTP port that will be used for Oracle Application Express [8080]:

Specify a port that will be used for the database listener [1521]:

Specify a password to be used for database accounts. Note that the same
password will be used for SYS and SYSTEM. Oracle recommends the use of
different passwords for each database account. This can be done after
initial configuration:
Confirm the password:

Do you want Oracle Database 10g Express Edition to be started on boot (y/n) [y]:y

HTTP访问管理接口
http://www.sillycat.com:8080/apex/

我是安装到虚拟机的，所以从以上地址向虚拟机发起访问，访问不了。检查发现估计这个HTTP只监听了127.0.0.1:8080

通过TOAD用用户名sys登陆数据库
执行如下命令：
exec dbms_xdb.setListenerLocalAccess
       (l_access => FALSE);

命令说明：
To set HTTP Access to Local only:
exec dbms_xdb.setListenerLocalAccess
       (l_access => TRUE);

To set HTTP Access to allow remote connects:
exec dbms_xdb.setListenerLocalAccess
       (l_access => FALSE);

执行以上命令后，就可以用http://www.sillycat.com:8080/apex/正常登陆了
