系统启动时显示Recovery Menu

我的系统环境:

Ubuntu 8.04.1
Gnome 2.22.3
Linux 2.6.24-21-generic

 突然发现在错误修改/boot/grub/menu.lst后,其实也不能算是错误修改主要是想开机的时候显示具体信息而不是splash画面.

/vmlinuz-2.6.24-21-generic root=UUID=********-****-****-****-***********6 ro single vga=791

 但是发现启动的时候会出现一个

Recovery Menu

画面.仔细研究发现是那个menu文件书写有些错误,不应该是single,而是quiet.即:

写道

/vmlinuz-2.6.24-21-generic root=UUID=********-****-****-****-***********6 ro quiet vga=791

 这样以来,那个画面就不会出现了.
