Unix道德经(英文版)

这是一个人主页，博主说，这是一个“黑客式”版本的 Dao De Ching (字面理解是”way power classic”，道路权力名著).他并对中文其实并不懂。他只是为Jonathan Star的 逐 字翻译 而工作，其使用了在线的中文一个词典 zhongwen.com 对 《道德经》一字一字地翻译。

他对《道德经》并不是很懂，除了知道那是中文，而且知道这是一个相当老的，而且，2500年 前的那些是非常喜欢的一个作品，正如 Ursula K. LeGuin 在 她 的版本 中所说的一样。作者说《道德经》是对道德，政治和宗教信仰做了很多的解释。到了今天，还有人在读这本书，说明了这本书的不朽，美妙和意味深 长。

希言自然。 故飘风不终朝， 骤雨不终日。 孰为此者﹖ 天地。 天地尚不能久， 而况于人乎﹖ 故从事于道者， 道者同于道， 德者同于德， 失者同于失。 同于道者， 道亦乐得之； 同于德者， 德亦乐得之； 同于失者， 失亦乐得之。 信不足焉， 有不信焉。

A few words about the matter: Flames don’t outlast the message, Flamewars don’t outlast the thread. What are the causes of these? The total system. If the works of the total system can’t last forever, how much less can anyone else’s, in fact? So do business with Unix people. Unix people are one with Unix, Power people are one with Power, (Lusers are one with Lossage.) Being one with Unix people, Unix must be happy with them. Power too is happy with them. (Even being one with lusers counts.) Trusting’s not enough, in fact; Having’s not trusting, either.

我相信这不是恶搞，但面对这样的事情——“老子”，“道德经”，“ Unix”和“英文”的和谐统一体，我无法不服啊。
