Spring festival return travel rush begins（春节返程高峰开始）

As the Spring Festival holiday nears its end, transportation authorities are gearing up for the travel rush. They have optimized their transportation capacity for travellers from all over the country who start to make their way back to work.
春节假日即将结束，运输部门正积极为返程高峰做好准备。为方便全国各地返回工作的旅客，他们最大限度优化了运输能力。

Beijing, one of the cities that receive China's largest influx of migrant workers, confronted its first return trip rush on Thursday. Railway stations have initiated special plans for the returning travelers, including adding 18 temporary trains.
北京，中国最大的民工流入城市之一，在周四经历了第一轮的返程高峰。各火车站针对旅客已经启动了多项特殊方案，包括增加了18个临时的列车班次。

In the vast western region, railway stations have carried out an identification policy for each passenger, similar to a flight check-in process. This prolongs the waiting time in the train stations.
在广阔的西部地区，火车站为旅客们推出了一种实名制验证政策，类似于登机检查过程。
这项政策延长了在火车站等待的时间。

Many worry the travelers will be a big challenge for Sichuan Province, which sends around 100,000 people to other provinces every day throughout the rush.
很多人担心对于整个高峰期间每天输出10万人到其他省份的四川省而言，旅客将成为它的一项重要挑战。

In the Chengdu railway station, temporary waiting rooms have been set up for thousands of passengers. Hot water and other public facilities are also available.
在成都火车站，车站为数千乘客设置了临时的候车室，同时还提供了热水和其他公共设施。

Besides trains, long-distance bus stations and airports are also preparing for the coming travel rush.
除火车之外，长途汽车站和机场也正在为到来的返程高峰做准备。

In Qingdao, Shandong Province, people began queuing for their trip in the morning. Officials say over ten thousand passengers are expected to leave from the station on Thursday.
在青岛，山东省，人们在清晨开始为旅行排队等候。有关部门声称超过1万的乘客期望在周四离开青岛。

Yu Tao, chief of Qingdao Long-distance Bus Station,said, "The return trip rush will start on Friday. The passenger flow will increase for the overnight trips, especially trips to big cities like Shanghai and Beijing."
于涛，青岛长途汽车站站长，说，“返程高峰将于周五开始，隔夜的人流会增加，特别是到大城市的，像上海北京。”


Extra ticket windows have also been opened at Qingdao's airport. But many say ticket prices remain high, with very little discounts offered.
在青岛机场，额外的售票窗口也已经开启。但许多旅客表示，机票价依然太高，同时提供的折扣太少。

Authorities say that the rush season has already begun, with a total of 32.5 million passenger trips on Wednesday, up 9.7 percent from the previous year.
运输部门表示返程高峰已经开始，在周三已经达到了3250万乘客，比去年同期增长9.7%。
