Tanks

A lot of tanks somehow think that they're automatically meant to beat MDPS classes because "tanks are MDPS's counter". This just isn't true and these tanks are generally ill-informed.

What isn't discussed in that thread, and I don't think the message is getting through, is that almost all MDPS classes can spec to be tank killers.

How can any tank, after seeing that, still claim that tanks are the rock to mdps' scissors (or scissors to paper).

These are the "anti-tank" abilities that I've found; I've included heals for WH and Marauder because Tanks do so little damage that heals are a fairly effective counter.

Witch Elf:

etc. White Lion has armor ignoring moves as well but I think my point is clear by now.

All of this excludes the MDPS CC moves that can disarm the tank, or moves that increase parry (effectively avoiding most the the tank's damage).
It also ignores moves that reduce healing on the target (which is a big factor in MDPS classes being able to kill tanks even while the tank is being healed), but I generally discourage this anyway because it's much easier to just kill the healer first and then kill the tank afterwards.
