Scheduler configuration guide

This page introdues how to create the scheduler in WAS 6.1 step by step
Startup the WAS server and open the WAS admin console;

Step 1: Create a Work manager

1 Select "Resources" -> "Asynchronous beans" -> "Work managers" in the left navigation bar;
2 Click "New" to create a new Work manager,input "MTPWorkManager" as Name ,"wm/MTPWorkManager" as JNDI name;
3 Click "OK" to create this destination, and then save the changes to the master configuration.

Step 2: Create a Scheduler

1 Select ""Resources" -> "Schedulers" in the left navigation bar;
2 Click "New" to create a new scheduler,input "MTP_Scheduler" as Name and JNDI name;
3 select "jdbc/MTPDS" as data source JNDI name,"younodename/MTPDBAuthAlias" as Data source alias;
4 Input "MTP_Scheduler_" as Table prefix;
5 Select ,"MTPWorkManager" as Work manager;
6 Click "OK" to create this destination, and then save the changes to the master configuration.



Step 3: Create Scheduler tables

1 Select ""Resources" -> "Schedulers",select "MTP_Scheduler" in the right Schedulers list;
2 Click "Create tables" button(pic 1).
