win7 重建性能记数器

1) Set system restore point and do a full backup of the Registry.

2) Using Regedit, give Full Control of the \009 and \Perflib keys to Users, Administrators (Interactive would not let me give permissions).

3) Open a cmd shell and run:

 

C:\Users\USJOMO>cd %systemroot%\system32

C:\Windows\System32>lodctr /R

Info: Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store

C:\Windows\System32>

4) Check \Counter and \Help keys - they have values now.

5) Copy perfc009.dll, perfd009.dll, perfi009.dll, perftrack.dll into %systemroot%\system32. Since I could not find them on the installation disk, I had to copy them from another PC that was not corrupted.
