1. Devstack Installation
Prepare ubuntu14.04 on my VM machine
Install git
>sudo apt-get install git

Fetch and get the codes
>git clone https://github.com/openstack-dev/devstack.git
>/home/carl/book/devstack
>./stack.sh 

Error Message
ERROR: (OperationalError) (1071, 'Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes') 'CREATE INDEX ix_snapshot_tenant ON snapshot (tenant)' ()

Solution:
>export no_proxy="localhost,127.0.0.1,10.0.2.15"
No use, and it seem to me that it have something to do with my mysql version 5.6.20.

So I will prepare a clean ubuntu system and try again.
After a long time, it is installed on that VM.
Horizon is now available at http://10.190.191.150/ Keystone is serving at http://10.190.191.150:5000/v2.0/ Examples on using novaclient command line is in exercise.sh The default users are: admin and demo The password: kaishi This is your host ip: 10.190.191.150 2014-08-06 20:48:25.747 | WARNING: Q_AGENT_EXTRA_AGENT_OPTS is used You are using Q_AGENT_EXTRA_AGENT_OPTS to pass configuration into /etc/neutron/neutron.conf. Then I can use admin/kaishi and demo/kaishi to login in that system.

If I reboot the server, I need to run the command as follow to start the stack services.
>/home/carl/download/install/devstack/rejoin-stack.sh
