最近着手找工作,有一些心得准备陆续的准备发上来,给大家个参考。

老猪本身要找工作呢,就想多给自己点时间,不打算太快出手,希望了解好行情,也让自己准备好了再卖。眼下看到一个年薪20w的工作吧,应该是未来的目标,不知道自己需要多少时间能够达到要求。现在先把要求列出来,以便有的放矢

Job Description:

The Technology Director at Grey will be responsible for architecting and implementing interactive development

solutions across the agency. With a broad yet detailed understanding of front?end and back?end web technologies,

you will be as comfortable advising clients and development partners as you will be lending hands?on support to

your team. You will also have excellent communication skills with a track record of both leading and inspiring

internal and 3rd?party developers to deliver flawless work in a fast?paced and deadline?driven environment.

As the single point of contact for producers and creative teams at Grey, you will also be skilled at confirming

technical feasibility and recommending the best solutions for simple and complex creative problems.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities can be grouped into 3 major categories:

Project & Account Leadership

• Perform technical requirements gathering and existing platform analysis for clients.

• Generate convincing and substantiated technology and architecture recommendations.

• Develop and maintain technical specification and architecture documents.

• Oversee the development, deployment, and QA of all projects.

• Work with producers to estimate development needs on projects.

• Validate concepts and designs before they are presented to clients.

• Assess and validate developers’ implementation strategies.

• Recommend and own hosting solutions for new and existing platforms/campaigns.

• Evaluate vendor documentation from technical perspective to validate approach and effort.

• Communicate difficult scenarios to clients regarding technical hurdles as needed.

Department Leadership

• Provide hands?on support to developers as needed.

• Offer strong leadership, coaching, and guidance to developers.

• Facilitate on?the?job training of developers.

• Define coding standards and disseminate best practices within the team.

• Help recruit, identify, and hire tech talent on an ongoing basis.

Agency Leadership

• Assess platforms, technologies, tools, and 3rd?parties on an ongoing basis.

• Manage the agency’s internal QA strategy and requirements.

• Evangelize the agency’s technology and business philosophy, methodology, and capabilities.

• Keep a pulse on technology and share findings with the agency.

• Participate in new business efforts as needed.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

• 8+ years developing and leading large'scale technology engagement and at least 5 years doing so in an

agency environment.

• Advanced knowledge of programming languages and platforms (e.g. .NET, Java and PHP, Perl, SQL,

Flash/Flex, Ruby?on?Rails, etc.)

• Expert?level knowledge in Web 2.0 technologies, including AJAX, social networking and blog platforms,

widget development, mobile and emerging digital interfaces.

• Expert?level knowledge of object?oriented design concepts, various frameworks, data storage

implementations and enterprise design patterns.

• Experience working with enterprise level CMS systems, e?commerce platforms, enterprise search solutions,

and analytics packages.

• Advanced ability to analyze business requirements quickly to determine and assess feasibility.

• Must have an excellent understanding of best practices across technologies (client/server'side, QA,

deployment, project management etc.).

• Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Experience building applications and websites for large multinational brands.

• Up?to?date understanding of market trends and keen interest in following emerging technologies.

• Computer science degree preferred.

- Bachelors Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

- Central in the development of 3+ consumer facing, high traffic production web systems.

- Expert Ruby on Rails web application development experience.

- Extensive experience with another Object Oriented language required.

- Applies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solving.

- MVC & Persistence Framework development experience.

- Practices TDD with a deep knowledge of testing Ruby applications.

- Experience with Memcached, Redis, and other key-value stores.

- Tackled clustering/caching, multi-threading and thread safety issues

- RDBMS experience including schema design and content modeling.

- Strong command of database modeling/design, web standards and best practices.

- Javascript programming with emphasis on jquery.

- Worked in a fast paced environment with continuous integration, unit/integration/load/performance
testing.

The Role:


Bloomberg is creating an exciting new information product that will report on, analyze, and quantify the impact of government actions on business and industry. This new product will be marketed to government agencies including Congress, Beltway influencers (lobbyists, associations, etc.), and business leaders (C-suite executives, government sales, government affairs, etc.) in the industries that are most impacted by government actions. We are looking for an experienced hands-on Ruby on Rails developer who has experience with working in an agile / scrum environment leveraging Webs/ Rails best practices and has a passion for developing high quality innovative and scalable solutions to challenging problems.

Qualifications:


- Write code in Ruby, HTML/CSS, and Javascript
- Work as part of an Agile development team incorporating feedback from product managers, product support and other development team members
- Design, implement, and maintain Ruby on Rails based components
- Rapidly solve problems and bugs
- Proactively look for ways to make the Bgov product better
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Ruby on Rails & MySQL in a consumer facing web environment
- Experience with object oriented analysis/design
- Experience in XHTML, Javascript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques
- Familiarity with relational databases, preferably MYSQL and Oracle
- Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
- Understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues
- Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
- Familiarity with the MVC model
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Pair Programming, or Extreme Programming
- A proven ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments
- Superb analytical skills, self directed, excellent communication skills with engineers and non-engineers, strong team ethic, and pays close attention to details
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
